    The craftsmanship and color sensibility are quite pleasant from a technical perspective. As well, Maura's expressive figures and faces portray personal characters in natural life scenes. This approach and artistic capacity not only demonstrate significant skill and experience, but importantly as well, they seem drawn from a deep well of genuine perception and compassion. For me, her art is felt as well as seen, as if each piece were an offering to be received.
